Lee Douglas Interiors teamed up with Wilderness Construction to create the beautiful 4 bedroom home in Firethorn for this year’s fall Parade of Homes.

The home owner selected Lee Douglas to review the plans and concepts before building. After we altered the plans to suit the style of living and needs of the owner, we worked to assist with all of the exterior and interior permanent selections down to the paint colors and hardware.

From a decorating standpoint, the color palette is simple and consists heavily of grey tones. Good design in demonstrated in the depth of pattern variety and textures seen in stone, wood flooring, upholstery and textiles. The neutrality of the base pieces allow for the space to be rearranged or updated in the future with ease.

[FOYER] The crisp white of the trim compliments the trendy grey palette to set the tone of the home.

[LIVING ROOM] Tall ceilings, interior stone adornment, and lots of windows in the family room create the perfect hang out spot for a night at home for the family or entertaining.

[DINING ROOM]The stone wall that partitions the dining room from the kitchen gives just enough privacy and formality to the space without being completely separated. No more formal dining areas that are too fussy to use. Lighting is the jewelry of any room and the scale of the fixture that we selected is perfect for the size for the table and the style of the décor.

[KITCHEN+HEARTH]The kitchen spills into the hearth room. Guests and family always navigate to the kitchen and we’ve made sure there is plenty of room for everyone.

[MASTER SUITE]The master suite is genuinely an owner’s retreat, and the furniture we’ve selected makes the room feel luxurious and relaxing. The abstract wall art and soft fluffy angled rug are a perfect juxtaposition to the strong, geometric drapery.

[MASTER BATH]In the master bath, two large, geometric shelving units flank the free standing soaker tub. The wood tones work to add warmth in the bathroom. The shelving units serve as a unique place to display extra towels, bath salts, candles, and more.

***All the furniture, artwork, rugs and accessories were selected from the Lee Douglas showroom floor and not only is it all for sale, it will be 20% off until they make it back to the store on Wednesday, October 12th.
