Ideas for changing your walls for the holidays

Christmas is today! Company is coming in an hour and the room just feels “blah”. Here is another last minute idea that just may save the mood. We talked yesterday about writing a message on a mirror, but there are other things that you can do to that mirror too:

• Hang a wreath off of it
• Wire Garland to the top and add lights
• Tie a ribbon around it and add a huge bow

Artwork can also be changed out and you can even leave the hooks from year to year if you want the same placement and they can be hidden under the replacement art. It doesn’t even have to be holiday artwork, just a change can do your walls good. Here is some great deer artwork that we sold our client to take them into winter.

Below we swapped out a piece of artwork and hung these deer heads for a quick festive change. These adorable creatures are still on sale through the end of the year in our Lincoln and Omaha showrooms.

• Write a message on an old reclaimed board and swap out for an existing piece of art.
• Christmas up a chalkboard.
• Wrap your artwork in a fun paper and add a ribbon.
• Replace art with a wall vase and fill with fresh greens.
