How to glam your holiday garland

Mantles and garlands- kind of a repeat, but they are both different in their own way. Garlands are known for adorning stairways but here are some additional areas – don’t be afraid to cut them to size.

• Drapes
• Doorways
• Mirrors
• Lights
• Fences

Garlands can go almost anywhere that needs a straight, swagged, draped, or wrapped base. You thought I was just going to talk about mantles, huh. Like everything with this blog, just think outside the box. Use an artificial garland as the base for any area that you want to adorn. If you are adding lights to it make sure they are hidden. In this case, the floor outlet was in the middle of the floor. If you run a cord to the floor without concealing it, it’s over…so, add garland tails that camouflage the point of plug in.
